Before & After of loss of an upper right tooth, with drifting

Due to the drifting, there will be a gradual change in the contacts between opposing teeth, and this usually causes grinding. The attrition can be seen on the front lower teeth, but are worse on the upper teeth chew surfaces of the patient.

The more correct way of fixing this, will be orthodontic treatment first, but due to the existing damage from grinding, there will still be crowns to be fitted, so we opted for crowns only on the upper jaw teeth and an opening of the bite to give an improved visual effect to the patient.

The change is significant and see how well the upper right back teeth appear where there was a missing tooth. It will take a while to adapt to the new bite
